About Early Intervention
Every child grows and learns new skills at his or her own pace. Children can vary in skills and development. You know your child better than anyone else. If you have concerns about the development of your child aged 0-35 months, we can help.

Early Intervention in Pennsylvania consists of services and supports designed to help families with children who have developmental delays or disabilities. Early Intervention builds upon the natural learning occurring in those first few years.

WCHS provides Service Coordination in the Early Intervention Program. The Service Coordinator is the first point of contact, and is the link between families and other service providers. The Service Coordinator will gather information about your child and developmental concerns, and will facilitate a comprehensive developmental evaluation in your home, at no cost to you, to determine if further services are necessary.

The easiest way to refer your child is to call our office. Simply state that you wish to make an Early Intervention referral, and someone will assist you.

You can also call Pennsylvania’s Statewide CONNECT line at 1-800-692-7288 to have a referral sent to our office.
