Board of Directors

Gary Weinstein is the current Board President and has been an active board member for Healing Bridges since August 2020. Weinstein is a retired healthcare administrator, who worked 38 years for the Washington Health System, with the last nine years as CEO. Prior to his healthcare career, Weinstein served in many philanthropic roles. He spent two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ethiopia, a year as an assistant instructor in the linguistics department of the University of Pittsburgh and three years working in community and economic development in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania. Weinstein graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He then acquired his Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania. To continue his charitable actions, Weinstein is also currently the Board President of Action Resources, Inc., an affiliate of Blueprints and a volunteer tutor for the Literacy Council of Southwestern Pennsylvania.

David Finder is the active Board Vice President for Healing Bridges. Finder currently works for the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts and is the Deputy Court Administrator of the Washington Court of Common Pleas. Prior to his current work-related positions, he was a Title IV-D Attorney for the Washington County Domestic Relations Section and an Associate for Bassi, Vreeland & Associates P.C. Finder graduated from Washington and Jefferson College with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and received a Juris Doctor’s degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

Gary Stout is the current Board Secretary for Healing Bridges. Stout is a mostly-retired attorney and is a very decorative citizen within the state of Pennsylvania. Some rewards and recognitions that he received over the years include the HHS Uncommon Leadership Award in 1987 and the Robert Stewart Award from the Domestic Relations Association of Pennsylvania in 1996. Stout graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College and a Juris Doctor’s degree from Duquesne University before being actively involved with the development of nonprofits. Since 2014, Stout has also been an active board member for the James McCune Acorn Society and the Washington County Community Foundation.

Lindsay Aaron is an active board member for Healing Bridges. Aaron is currently a self-employed Tax Strategist for her own family-run accounting firm, Aaron Accounting P.C. She started her career in public accounting with a nationally recognized firm in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. area, where she provided a range of accounting and auditing services. As a Washington Pennsylvania native, she was inspired to go back to her roots where she continues to help others with her tax advisory and accounting expertise. Aaron received her undergraduate degree from Clarion University and is an accredited Certified Public Accountant.

Renee Booker is an active board member for Healing Bridges. For the last 13 and a half years, Booker has been the Senior Human Resources Partner for Washington Health System and has over 35 years of experience in the human resources field. She has an extensive background in HR, ranging from the retail industry, to transportation and logistics, all the way to the medical field and healthcare.

Her job experiences helped her hone skills such as recruiting and staffing, employee relations, legal compliance, training and development, succession planning and labor union negotiations for over 2,000 employees. Some the of awards and recognitions she has received throughout the years include the 2023 Eugene L. Strosser Scholarship from the Washington System Health Foundation and the Rosamond C. Kay Recognition Award from the Allegheny Union Baptist Association (AUBA).

Booker graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1980 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Human Resource Management. In addition to her board participation at Healing Bridges, she also serves on the advisory boards for Penn Commercial and Washington Health System School of Nursing. Furthermore, Booker was recently the Financial Chairperson for the Historic Nazareth Baptist Church for 10 years as well.

Robert Laick is an active board member for Healing Bridges. Laick is retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and was previously accredited as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Certified Addictions Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor prior to his board status. Laick graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Public Administration and then went on to graduate from Duquesne University with a degree in Counseling. As an involved community member in Western Pennsylvania, Laick also serves on the board for the Washington County Transportation Authority.
